Sign your card upon receipt- Report a lost or stolen card immediately
- Memorize your PIN. Don't write the PIN on the card or keep it with the card
- Remember to take your ATM receipt
- Always take and destroy merchant carbons
- Destroy your old card when it expires or when a new card is issued
